Stephen (Steve) Caroselli opened Orion Entrance Control, Inc. in 2009, drawing upon his many years working with security turnstiles manufacturers in the corporate access control industry. In less than a decade, Steve led Orion Entrance Control to rapid success, tripling its workforce, expanding sales of security barriers and turnstiles to 11 countries, and providing turnstile solutions for many of the largest and most sophisticated facilities in the world. He has experience in emergency management, fire protection, vulnerability assessments and security.
Steve leverages strong relationships across security, manufacturing, operations, and access control to ensure that Orion’s products enhance the entrance experience and provide peace of mind to customers. With a passion for craftsmanship and quality control and a believer in the potential of “great conversations,” Steve proudly built the company and manufactures its products in his home state of New Hampshire, USA, using beautiful, locally-sourced and sustainable products.
Barbara has extensive experience managing finance and administration for large companies, making her an important asset for both internal needs and for understanding the processes and pressures our customers face every day. At Orion, she has executive-level oversight of financial affairs and internal operations, taking advantage of the exponential growth the company has experienced over the last several years to capitalize on every opportunity to streamline, enhance, and optimize systems for both our own needs and those of our customers.
Since joining Orion Entrance Control, Inc. in 2014, Tom continues to lead efforts to advance the mission of growing Orion’s customer base and expanding recognition of the Orion Entrance Control brand across North America and beyond. He developed the foundation for his career over two decades with a leading business services, document management, and digital printing solutions company where he grew from installer and technician to sales management. Prior to Orion Entrance Control, Tom was no stranger to access control, security management and turnstile through his work in sales management for the motion picture industry.
Nancy remains on the pulse of the industry’s needs and understands customer expectations by organizing Orion’s presence at more than a dozen trade shows, conferences, and promotional events each year. From coordinating speaking engagements to customizing sales documentation, Nancy is on it. As Orion’s first employee, her experience supporting the company’s materials and programs is an important asset that helps us envision an entrance experience that exceeds expectations. Her intense attention to detail supporting Orion’s CEO and her in-depth understanding of the turnstile market are only a few of the ways she enables success across the entire Orion team.
With 17 years in the security industry, Jerry has extensive experience with the design and installation of security systems, access control systems, CCTV, and commercial fire alarms. He joined Orion in 2012 as production manager, gaining crucial insights and skills to manage every step of the Orion process, from project management to building, shipping, and commissioning.
Jerry has also helped evolve the Orion product line over the years. With customer needs in mind, he has helped lead research and development and manages Orion’s in-field support team and call center, provides on-site project commissioning, and manages and maintains our warranty extension program. His work in research & development since joining Orion has had a positive & direct effect on the ease of installation and serviceability, as well as the intuitive & user-friendly nature of Orion’s products, positioning Orion a leader in the industry. He has traveled all over the world commissioning new projects, training and certifying technicians on the Infinity Software, and servicing and maintaining the turnstiles.
Chuck joined the Orion team as purchasing manager in 2014, bringing 19 years of experience within the security industry. His areas of expertise include design, installation and programming of home automation systems, commercial and residential security systems, commercial access control, and closed-circuit television systems.
His impact at Orion is integral to the development, design and integration of several technologies, including biometrics and latest in high-security access control. He maintains relationships with Orion’s vast network of manufacturing and fabrication partners to ensure the highest quality and craftsmanship shine through in all of Orion’s products. In addition to his procurement role, Chuck also oversees Orion’s mechanical engineering and assembly teams, working closely with Orion’s talented engineers to create new product designs that guarantee the best possible end-user experience with multiple custom integrated technologies while staying on time and on budget.
Chuck is also the first point of contact for all IT and facility-related matters at Orion.
Joe has 30+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and design across the aerospace, automotive, drilling and blasting, and medical industries, including his family-owned machine shop business in Gonic, NH. He holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of New Hampshire, and began his career with Orion in 2015. Joe oversees 3D printing, quality and workflow for Orion’s team of engineers, and seamlessly manages communications between internal sales teams and external vendor suppliers and customers. This collaborative approach ensures each component of every entrance control system is created with craftmanship, and every question is answered with technical expertise.
