The sensor takes approximately 1 second to detect temperature. It can take 2-3 seconds to display the results for each individual user. Throughput, based on walking speed and social distancing, is approximately 600-900 users per hour.

Yes, OPTR is ADA compliant. Easy to follow graphics and the LCD display provide visual indication, for all users, of correct facial placement and results. 

Yes as an option, Orion Infinity Remote Lane control software can monitor multiple lanes of OPTR-K.

Pursuant to the “Enforcement Policy for Clinical Electronic Thermometers During the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID- 19) Public Health Emergency” the Orion Pre-Entry Temperature Reader (OPTR) qualifies as an Electronic Thermometer.
